His previous film, Gareth Edwards's The Creator was nominated for two Oscars. His collaborations with James Gray on Armageddon Time and Ad Astra were selected for competition in the Cannes and Venice film festivals respectively. Ad Astra went on to be nominated for an Oscar. He worked as an additional editor on Adam McKay’s film, Don’t Look Up. It was nominated for 4 Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Film Editing for Hank Corwin.
